NASE Worldwide & Padi
Advanced Open Water Diver Course
The NASE Worldwide & Padi Advanced Open Water Diver course is the important
first step in continuing your scuba diving education. It
is designed to give the newly certified or not so experienced
diver added confidence and enjoyment in their diving through
additional skills and training. Prerequisite for this course
is a NASE Worldwide & Padi open water certificate or equivalent with another
training agency.
This package is made up of five open water dives.
Two of these are core required dives, which have to be completed.
They are the deep dive and underwater navigation.
The remaining three can be chosen from a wide range of interests.
As before, this package is performance based. A period of
self-learning is undertaken, with knowledge reviews being
used to check understanding. There is no formal classroom
session for this program, but all individual dives can be
supplemented with additional training videos.

be undertaken. They can also be individually taken as specialities,
which would earn you a separate certification.

* Search & Recovery Diver
* Wreck Diver

(This course is normally for more advanced divers)
The Advanced Plus course offers you more underwater experience
and a greater understanding of diving.
Both the Advanced Open Water and the Advanced Plus further
develops your diving skills. As with the Advanced course,
two core dives are completed, plus seven elective dives,
CPR and first aid training (i.e. NASE Worldwide & Padi Medic First Aid),
plus in-depth diving knowledge development.
This course can be undertaken as part of a holiday package
if required. The cost of the training can be built into
the holiday package and is very competitive.
Completion of this course puts you in a very good position
to undertake the NASE Worldwide & Padi Rescue Diver program, and even go
on to become a Divemaster, the first Professional step for
a diver moving on to becoming a NASE Worldwide & Padi Instructor.
