Our scuba tour Instructors know every detail of Monterey
Bay and will make your dive a memorable experience for novice
and expert divers alike.
Visit the kelp forest, the break-wall, or just relax and
let the fish come to you- boat dives are also available.
We offer refresher dives for
those who have not been submerged for a year or the full
SCUBA Tune-Up program. This
is a great opportunity to improve your diving skills and
knowledge base.
Kelp canopy cover varies seasonally. It is thickest in
late summer and thins or disappears in winter, when large
swells and old age combine to remove weakened adults. During
the following spring, the next generation takes advantage
of the thin canopy cover and increased available light to
grow rapidly. When coupled with up welling, which brings
cold, nutrient-rich waters to the surface, these conditions
allow some species of kelp to grow up to thirty centimeters
per day.
Requirements: You must have a valid
C-Card from
a valid certifying agency.
What will it cost?
The cost of a guided tour is $69.00
per person for a 1 tank dive ( 2 Dive Minimum ). Scuba
Equipment is not included. You may rent
equipment for an additional $65.00
(Good for entire weekend). This price is only included with
the guided tour. Guided night diving tours are currently
not available.
What time do we meet?
8:00AM - 1st Dive
11:00AM - 2nd Dive
We will meet at the location specified by the divemaster
during the guided tour.
What do we need to bring?
Change of clothes, towels, plenty of water. You
will also need to pay for metered parking.
