For $299.00 $228.00 we will include free rental of all the personal snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel, fins and boots) that you would required to buy.

Fri night 5:00pm-9:30pm Sat 8:30am-3:30pm covers all academics and confined water pool sessions. Start with us and finish in warm tropical water on your vacation! Max size is 6 persons per instructor. 84 degree olympic pool.

We encourage everyone to purchase their own gear, but it's not mandatory. Come into our shop and check out our extensive selection of Scuba and snorkeling gear. You do not need to buy it. Use our gear first, then the decision is yours.

NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Referral Dive Course

The NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Referral Course is designed for people who desire to complete the classroom & pool work done here at Bay Area Scuba Diving Center, and do their NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Ocean Training dives at a tropical warm water resort.

Includes tuition fee, our fee for classroom & pool instruction.

In as little as 12 hours you can be ready to begin your Open Water Certification dives in warm 80-degree water with 100 hundred ft. visibility!

We can send our instructors with you on the trip too. Ask us about our beautiful 6 bedroon home in Kona for rent.

We will send you to one of our NASE Worldwide & Padi affiliates.

What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a NASE Worldwide & Padi Junior Open Water Diver program available.

  • A NASE Worldwide & Padi Jr Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 12 years may only dive with a NASE Worldwide & Padi Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

    What will I do?
    Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing four pool dives and knowledge development sessions.

    How long will it take?
    NASE Worldwide & Padi programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

    What will I need to purchase?
    * NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Online Course or
    * NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Video or DVD
    * Your own personal Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Gloves and Boots. ( May be purchased at Bay Area Scuba at the Student Discount Rate when you sign-up for our NASE Worldwide & Padi    Open Water Diver Scuba Class or You can rent your personal equipment for only $39.00 in the Referral Program)

    • What is our NASE Worldwide & Padi Open Water Referral Class Availability?
    * We offer Private and Semi-Private instruction. You are responsible to contact the operator directly, that we refer you to, to finish the four open water dives.
